You are against Niger Republic yet you are giving asylum protection to someone accused of attempting a coup. Hmmm Nigeria get it's problem but our government don't seem to care or see it as a problem. Instead trying to put their nose in other people's or county's problems. No one in Nigeria will protest or complain or take the government to court. 2 Likes |

SmartyPants:Best political solution according to you, when you guys intentionally make some citizens to be above the law, how then do you expect to implement the law on anyone, treason is the worst crime in any democracy. It is not in tinubu's place to decide what is the best solution, we must begin to teach men how to follow steps, is it not the same tinubu who critized Niger coup and almost foolishly went to war with Niger, for this same offense. 1 Like |

blackboy: Oga, it is an acceptable practice all over the world. If Nigeria don't grant him asylum. Other Countries would E.g UK, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Getmany, Russia, USA, Brazil, South Africa Etc But that doesn't stop him for facing ICC if they find him wanting. 3 Likes |

hegelian: This is simple International Diplomacy and has nothing to do with tribalism. Even Obi as a president would do the same. Charles Taylor was in Calabar for many years, nobody shouted tribalism against Obasanjo It is not everything we bring in tribalism or is Koroma a Yoruba person? 5 Likes |

Shattuck: 1. What do you understand by the term "political solution?" 2. I'm amazed how you managed to make this about Tinubu. This is about Sierra Leonians and what is best for that country. If Koroma is convicted and sentenced to death the prospects of a fresh civil war are 90%. The unemployed and angry youth are there. The arms are there. The ethnic divide is there. Do you know what we're talking about at all? It is for this reason that the attorney general of SL stepped down the case and now we're talking about bail conditions. The government itself is not willing to hastily rush ahead with prosecution for the obvious reasons I outlined above. All Nigeria is doing is offering Koroma a safe haven - it is up to Bio and Sierra Leonians to accept the deal. 3. Unfortunately you can't reason beyond "Tinubu". Not knowing you are undermining yourself since despite the obviously empty threat to invade niger, no invasion has taken place. But according to you, causing war in Niger to deal with lawbreakers is foolish while preventing war in Sierra Leone is also foolish because lawbreakers need to be taught lessons. Why do your principles shift from situation to situation?? I would have laughed if not that the subject matter is not funny in any way. 8 Likes 1 Share |
