I always tell people who think like this that globalisation is real, and we must embrace it. Imagine that the citizens of countries that Nigerians Japa to are asking the same question or don't you think that Nigérians take up the jobs of local people in those foreign countries?
You meant to say taking up care jobs (slavery jobs) that the locals can't do?

One thing I like about Wike and Amaechi is that you cannot give them an office without them making an impact.

They did a good job as Rivers State governors and also did the same at federal level (Wike is on it), unlike Fashola that got 3 ministerial appointments without making a significant impact.

If you perform well as a minister, governorship go be moi-moi for you. Mr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo deserves to be the Governor of Ondo State in the future.
Fashola is greater than all the governors from your cursed, cannibal region.

Ibos are always envious of Yoruba leaders, the same ibos parade the worst leaders in Nigeria since independence.

They hated Awolowo, MKO even to the point of death.

Today, they still hate all our illustrious sons like, Oshibajo, Fashola, Ambode, Sanwo Olu, Great Tinubu, etc
Leave our leaders alone , they are not responsible for the underdevelopment of your 'cannibal region'

Buhari kept and maintained one
dumb, clueless Fulani FCT Minister for 8 years..

The Minister's only achievement was the
sporadic demolition of private property,
and confiscating and allocating juicy
FCt lands to his Fulani & Muslimbrothers,
for 8 years, he built nothing.

Then we keep wondering why northern
Nigeria remains backwards, even when
power has been in their hands longer
than other regions.
I am a Muslim but you have made some valid points

Mention ONE country that is playing the leading role in those industries you mentioned in Nigeria and earn my next reply.

By the way, people will always migrate to take up opportunities. If you start questioning why foreigners are in Nigeria, I don't see how you are any different from South Africans exhibiting xenophobic tendencies.
Discussions of this nature are very difficult for P.E students to understand. I can understand your situation.

People need to stop praising mediocrity. Wike was a poor governor. Building irrelevant flyovers is not making an impact. What is important is economic and human capital impact and not wasted projects.

Amaechi did well in education, healthcare, security, poverty alleviation etc. He still did lots of road projects and some bridges projects.

Amaechi transformed loves.

Wike was just a waste.
I wonder why some people don't even try to hide their hatred. Dey dia dey blow grammar, that's the only thing you can do anyway as your opinion holds no damn water... Hater!!

That's not entirely true. Some projects are financed by Nigerian government and are done by JB and Arab Contractors. Those companies have a lot of white people in them.

However, your logic is mostly applicable to projects that are constructed by Chinese companies. And if we are being honest, that's the best approach because Nigerian government will loot the money if you give them the cash like World Bank and IMF.
Those companies have elite Nigerians as directors, and they (the companies) are in bed with our politicians.

This is to show that when you have competent people in charge, pursuit of service delivery to the people will be way easier. Unlike the idiot who was the
immediate past FCT Minister, Abuja was turned into a village under the watch. Stupid man!

I quiet understand your point but bro no need calling our civil Engineers stupid, moreso let's just give it to Wike for at least within 6 month started the project and competed I think it is commendable.

I can't remember when last any past Federal capital minister have carried out any project into completion all what the past Federal capital minister were busy doing was bulldozing and sharing Abuja land with their family and friends.

When I see our politicians taking pictures with white guys when commissioning projects is so annoying, does it mean that our Nigerian engineers are not good enough?

The man need to flogged in public for doing nothing in FCT. We even held that during his reign he normally return money met for work to Federal government and in return get percentage from it. Another stylish way of corruption in disguise when their are lot of work to be done in FCT

Mr man how many Plots of Lands does Wike allocated to you and your Family members or your Southern brothers? Don't be carried away by these people actions..because they're all united up there when it comes to looting the treasury, irrespective of their Religion tribe or ethnicity... Keep on wailing and deceiving yourself...

I don't need any soothsayer to tell me that Wike would perform.

Performance is in his DNA. He's an hyper person and there's nothing you would say that would convince him until he sees it in the site.

I think Tinubu got the appointment right.

Keep it up Mr Project, Abuja is ready for development.

this isn't about xenophobia, Nigerians migrate to fit into those countries and rise to the top, foreigners come into Nigeria and immediately they are at the very top, it is worrisome almost all construction site in Nigeria you see Nigerians working as manual labourer then there is a white guy somewhere and a police or military escort it is so cliche, considering the level of unemployment and capital flight, Nigeria is underdeveloped and the construction sector will always be a major sector now and in the future, I would expect the govt to look into this an try an encourage and upskill indigenous contractors.

Mother and child hospital is an Amaechi project. Wike just painted and commissioned it. See how you nailed yourself without knowing.

Building one hospital is not delivering healthcare. It takes more.

Amaechi built and equipped over a 100 health centres. Employed doctors and bought some of them cars to work in the health centres. Then, carried out free healthcare programs in those healthcare centers that covered children under 6 and aged over 80 years.

You can not compare Wike to Amaechi. Wike did his best which was a total failure.

Finito.

bla bla, Who didn’t employ doctors? You think it's everything that makes it to the media? I have doctor friends that got employed in BMH and other general hospitals during wikes time, before Amaechi left, BMH was shiit, wike upgraded it, Amaechi was a clueless governor that embarked on LGA projects, primary healthcare centers were constructed and upgraded by LGA Chairmen in wikes time, how many specialist or secondary health center did Amaechi complete during his time as governor? Wike upgraded BMH, Kelsey Harrison hospital(dental clinic), Peter odili cancer and cardiovascular center and mother child hospital. Amaechi did zero secondary health centers in 8 years, people like you made it seem like wike did only flyovers.
