All road construction in Nigeria is supervised and controlled by either Chinese,Lebanese or whites.

Despite this the roads are not built in any spectacularly advanced or durable way.

If that is all these foreigners can offer, why then is road construction only run by these foreign companies.

There's a lot of mysteries to be unravelled in Nigeria

They don't trust the system they built and also the Cashback/corruption money they see with a foreigner is much higher than a native.

how about you create a construction company if you don’t like the status quo? If he easy run am.

In UAE and most Arab countries do you see their own citizens working in construction? But things are being built. Whether its Lebanese or Chinese building roads in Nigeria it doesn’t matter.

The Chinese for example provide loans for the road construction/railway building. Why should they not use their own people?

Is this not a Nigerian contractor below?

The Chinese, Lebanese or most foreigners working in Nigeria are not among the best in their country.

In most cases, highly rated foreigners do not agree to be posted to Nigeria and most companies abroad will not even send their best or most experienced workers here.

So if the roads are not as good as you expect, the above partly explains it.
