And when one responds and you assign a test, you dont see the need to dignify the applicant that you do not wish to proceed with them. Things you can control:

Sending an application
Improving your skills
Working on your entitlement mentality (it's why you're still where you are)

Things you can't control:

If your application is acknowledged or rejected
How a client responds to your proposals
If the client feels you're the right person for the job

People who want the job will still apply, and the best fit will get hired.
