No be first as Eniola Badmus ignorantly talk again? grin

We're competing in pump price with united States, who can buy the entire African continent multiple times, and a well developed nation, when we're supposed to be in-between counties like Iran and Libya?

No wonder there's so much hardship in the world. Nigeria's problems are our the followers who keep voting these slave drivers. They earn like usa lawmakers do, in a country ridden with abject poverty

It doesn't matter how "cheap" they can claim fuel is, how much is minimum wage? How can we be buying fuel at almost the same price with countries that earn over $500 monthly(about 600k naira) as minimum wage?? And you call that cheap?!¿? Are we insane in this country?? ?? ??
The post no just add up, so they want us to be happy with the news abi.

They want to increase fuel price again.
Do those countries with high fuel price have a high unemployment rate? How much is their minimum wage?
Do they refine fuel abroad and import back into their country to sell?
Do they have months of blackout like Nigeria?
A whole opec country cannot boast of a functional refinery.
The media is even helping to drive this wicked move by Tinubu and Akpabio after sending prayers to lawmakers mailboxes.
Na that fuel go explode for inside that Una convoy
The stooges are already out on this thread trying to justify things..

Have you compared the minimum wage in other countries with ours? And the employment rate?
Have you compared the cost of living in those countries to ours?

The marketers in advanced countries are making a kill then. If we sell at 0.722 USD with little or no subsidy, anyone selling at above 1.2 USD is making a kill.

Not with 30k minimuim wage!!!

The fuel is still cheap, it should be increased to N2000 per litre, the agbadorians can afford it, awon oloriburuku somebodi, the country's only produce even in crude form.

I advise that you should not be part of this propaganda.
What concerns us with competition about whose fuel price is higher or otherwise?

It is cheap compared to other countries ... #22 on the list. If it's affordable to Nigerians is a different matter.... as in how many hours work at minimum wage must one work to buy 10 litres?

This would have been easier to read if it was a bar chart/histogram or something of such nature.

If only you exercise your finger and click on the source cited, you will not be asking such a lame question

You are just disturbing yourself with many other factors.
Look at the oil producing countries like Nigeria in the report and look at the prices attached to them.

Iran sells gas N26, Libya, Venezuela etc sell less than N40. You'll not see the so called Nigeria government and their merchants talk about that but compare themselves to a tiny place like Hong Kong that sell over 2k because that's where their interest lie in doing same thing here

But that’s how you compare what’s the true value or not.

If one’s monthly minimum wage can’t afford a full tank of petrol then what are we talking about?

You are still unknowingly talking about their income. grin grin grin
Many oil producing nations selling below 50 naira but the price in Nigeria is like x20 per liter despite having higher wages than Nigeria. What a shame

Media is not driving anything, they're just doing their job. They put information out there worldwide for everyone, it is left for individual country to do what they like with the information.
