Like I said, the music industry did have casualty last year, doctors did, transporters, market woman, politicians,farmers, construction industry etc. Difference is one is under the spotlight by virtue of it nature while others are not. If records are released you would realize the entertainment industry lost nothing much compared to others.

There are millions of sick people within the country at any given point in time. Nothing special about someone from the entertainment industry being sick.

2. A person on the family might have suggested taking him abroad for the procedure


3. Fighting within the family wether or not to waste money on treating the 'old man'.

4. Offer of a free operation by a private individual or hospital in a different hospital.


It could be any reason. These are just guess work from my head.

not really peculiar to them, those fallen sick are in their late 50s and above, many people in that age range are managing one sickness or the other.

National Hospital has outstanding Doctors but it is not free. Some Nurses and staff of the hospital tend to have a lackadaisical attitude. Some of the doctors do as well. It allegedly took the intervention of the Minister of Women affairs for him to get the best treatment. Even the ICU unit , we saw in the viral video was a disgrace.

National Hospital needs a lot of funding to be restored to its true potential. And I hope the doctors there are paid well.

There is also a long wait time to see some specialist doctors.

If you can afford the best care for your ailing loved one in a life or death situation, you might not take them there .

All these write-ups and no one has mentioned what he’s suffering from. Tufia!
