haha. Lol. You know, When the issue of merger broke in Nigeria, with the merging of some banks which couldn't meet up with the Central Bank's requirements and deadline, it became a topic for comedy, where you hear, '' If you can't afford three square meals a day, merge with your neighbour'', etc. But now it looks as if the joke is trying to become a part of us with the recent financial crisis in almost 27 out of the 36 states of the country. Now the hot topic on ground is, 'Should these states merge?'. If no, what is the way out. If yes, which states should merge with the other? Honestly this situation is kinda hilarious, but serious.

Abia state should be merged with Imo, so that the state will be delivered from the evil that has bedeviled it.

Ekiti has not justified it creation in 1996. It should be given to Ondo state to manage.

All in all, let's go back to regionalism.
