This is exactly the myopic reasoning that allows the legal system have two different judgement for the same crime .
So cos a man was raped and defiled by a woman, he shouldn't report or seek justice?

People like you will be the first to hang a male rapist but tread softly when a female rapist is involved..

Raping a 13-year-old girl is pure wickedness

Why do people commit such evil?

What makes it evil is not that she's 13, rape is evil no matter the age of the victim. It is similar to armed robbery but worse than it because the victim of robbery might recover what was stolen but a raped virgin cannot recover her virginity.

I condemn rape or any form of sexual abuse in its totality, I keep wondering why lagos state give these men life sentences.

10 to 15 years depending on the severity should be ideal.

While I agree that some of them may be irredeemable, second chances should be considered especially if they are first time offender.

I have read stories of boys who got violated by their maids, aunties, etc.

Even Rape is a serious offence, life imprisonment is too harsh. There should be a limit in his imprisonment like 20 to 30 years.

To be Honest, the judgement was too harsh. In as much as I condemn rape in totality, life sentence sounds too harsh especially if he is a first time offender. Everybody deserves a second chance
