Redouble your efforts, Ede poly Rector charges staff

.... as institution organises maiden inter faith prayers.

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Engr. Dr Man Yahaya Sani, has admonished the entire Staff of the institution to enhance the level of commitment they exhibited in the outgone year, for greater performance in the year 2024.

The Rector made the call during the maiden edition of INTER FAITH PRAYERS to usher in the new Academic Session for the year 2023/2024, which was held at S.O BABALOLA MULTI PURPOSE HALL of the institution.

In a statement signed by the Protocol, Media & Public Relations Officer of the institution, Sola Lawal, mnipr, the Rector also used the occasion to highlight some of the achievements recorded since he assumed office as the 6th substantive Rector of the citadel, which include:
* Full Accreditation of programs & approval to commenced additional eighteen programs (NATIONAL DIPLOMA & HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA).
*RENOVATION & UPGRADING OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS CAR LOTS.
*PURCHASED OF BOOKS/JOURNALS FOR POLYTECHNIC LIBRARY.

*STABILITY OF PEACE RESTORED BACK TO THE POLYTECHNIC COMMUNITY.
*RENOVATION OF CRITICAL PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURES BOTH AT THE NORTH & SOUTH CAMPUSES OF THE INSTITUTION.
*OPENING OF ROAD NETWORK AT THE SOUTH CAMPUS.
*REJUVENATION & STOCKING OF POLYTECHNIC FISH POND, among others.

Earlier in their separate address, the duo of Chairman, Muslim community, Engr. Dr Dauda Adekunle Folarin & Chaplain of the institution, Dr. Ayodeji Adebesin, urged the Staff of the school to sustain the peace & tranquility currently enjoy in the institution; stressing that progress can only be recorded in an atmosphere devoid of rancour,.

The two clerics, therefore, advised members of Staff to always channel their grievances to the appropriate authority as they both used the occasion to pray for the success of the Rector, Principal officers & the entire Polytechnic community for the sustainance of stability & progress being witnessed presently in the Polytechnic.
