MHR Akanni (Olohunwa) Distributes the Federal Government Consignment(Palliatives), to The Constituents Without Prejudice.

In his characteristic philanthropy and responsiveness to the plights of his constituents, Rt Hon. Clement Ademola Akanni (Olohunwa), the member representing Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency has distributed the rice palliatives received from the federal government to all the people of his constituency without leaving Paul for Peter.

He distributed it to cut across the palace, the chiefdoms, the security operatives, the Muslim community, the Christian Association of Nigeria, The Hausa Community, The Igbo Community, The Igede Community, the artisans, the motorists, commercial motorcyclists, political parties, the workers, Pensioners, retirees, the student's body, the people with physical disabilities, the market men and women and many other human endeavors in his constituency as palliatives to cushion the crunchy fangs of the Fuel subsidy removal they have been facing in the recent time which has devastating effects on virtually every individual life without any respect for socio-Economic status and strata.

The lawmaker who has always been with his constituency reached out to them through social media platforms a fortnight ago to clarify the ambiguity surrounding the consignment and let them know there wouldn't be any course for delaying the disbursement of the consignment did exactly as promised.

Olohunwa in his usual passionate approach to both the aged and infirms set aside some bags of the palliatives specifically targeted to the aged and infirms whom he promised to visit by himself in their various houses in their numbers across the three local governments, given their peculiar situations as the reason for his actions.

Beneficiaries of the palliative who are drawn from the 31 electoral wards across the 3 local government areas comprising the Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila federal constituency, were given the palliatives without recourse to religious or party affiliations.

Distribution of the palliative was done at the constituency office, Ojuolape area, at the headquarters of the 3 local governments in Ila Orangun with all the local government council chairmen of Ila, Ifedayo, and Boluwaduro in attendance.

The visibly elated downtown beneficiaries were full of praises to the lawmaker for remembering them at this difficult moment and prayed to God to reward him according to His riches in glory.

Olohunwa in his remarks said, regardless of his position as their representative in the National Assembly, it is his intrinsic characteristic to help anyone in need, and that physically strong people could scramble for palliative because of the harsh economic reality in the country, it has become incumbent on him to reach out to the aged and infirms who may not have the required strength to come for theirs even if they live in the hole of a tree in his constituency.

He equally appreciates President Bola Hammed Tinubu for this timely initiative, he, however, leverages the medium to advise the government that it is about time the government at all levels switched from POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAMS to POVERTY ERADICATION PROGRAMS, the latter of which he said will move the youth from being given foods to producing foods by themselves through various modern relevant Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Developments, job creation and employment opportunities.

Other dignitaries that graced up the yultide-like event included; The PDP party leader for the federal Constituency, Dr Ogunwole, The member representing Ila state constituency, Hon Dhikrillah Akinloye Bajepade, The six Local Government Chairmen made up of the federal constituency, the three party chairmen of Ila, Boluwaduro and Ifedayo, many ward chairmen and a host of others.
