I really don't know why Redmi keep putting we the users in harms way. This phone nearly caused a terrible fire incident in my house this morning.

Have been experiencing extreme temperature anytime I charge the device which I really didn't consider much of a problem until last night. My phone was around 8% so I decided I should charge it. I slept during the process but woke up to a burnt smell.

I realized that my phone was already burning from the inside. Now it's no longer coming up.
Such bad experience will continue to happen if the brand fail to address the issue. Is there any way I can be fixed because I don't have money for a new phone this period?

Nigerians don't know how to sue. If it's abroad you can sue the manufacturers and go away with a pretty nice sum of money. There are lawyers that will take up your case for a percentage of whatever amount the company pays at the end. But here we just thank God it wasn't worse than it was.
