While in Edo state, police will be having meetings with leadership of various cult groups to resolve disputes instead of arresting them , this is why cultism still hold strong in the state, political leaders are patrons, that is why police only look for peaceful settlement between them

When cultists are more than normal people, police have to sue for peace or
prepare to arrest half of the state residents.

Kudos to the CP, Lagos State. More attention should be focus on Ijora Badia of Lagos State if the CP is serious and determine to reduce cultism in the State. Ijora Badia and Ikorodu are the most notorious areas for cultism in the State. May I humbly also submit that some members of the Police Force and politicians are members of various cult and act as informants to the cult groups. Most honest and patriotic citizens are afraid to report crime to the law enforcement agencies because of their complicit in criminality.

In the first place, what does cultist or cultism mean?
There probably isn't any clear definition?

What was the offence of the seven suspects?
Did the police just raid two groups of people, and tag them as "cultists"?
