IN THE CASTLE

“My daughter,are you certain that this plan of yours will work?”King Darius asked with doubt written all over his face

“Yes father. I thought it through before informing mother and you” Princess Helen replied

“My precious Jewel, you going to an unfamiliar environment is what I am scared of. You do not know anyone there and it could be dangerous” Queen Zara who was her mother complained worriedly.

Princess Helen smiled and shifted her gaze to her mother then she assured her saying

“Mother, please don’t worry. It’s only a College and I chose to go there because there I will see different categories of people from distinctive backgrounds. Please let me do this. I promise not to let you down and a princess never breaks her promises” She raised her perfectly manicured right hand up

“I’m still not okay with this. What about Prince Derrick huh? Can’t you two just give yourselves a time to meet and get to know one another?”Queen Zara complained

“But mum you know I don’t love Prince Derrick”

“You refused to see him simply because you think he isn’t the right man for you” Her father chimed in

“I’m sorry father but I can’t marry Prince Derrick. Who knows if he is after the throne too? I want someone that loves me for me father. Someone that doesn’t know my true identity but still love me,that’s who I want”

Her mother sighed

“Please mother,father let me do this. I promise you will not regret it” She gave them puppy eyes cause she knows fully well that it was their weakness

“I can not say no to that face but your father has the final say”Queen Zara turned her gaze to the king

“Father please”

“Okay Princess but Kira will follow you there. She is your personal maid and the most trusted person in this palace” King Darius said and she nodded

“Yes father. Thank you so much. I will go and inform her now for us to get ready. Permit me to take my leave now”

“You may go”

She curtsied and left gracefully.

IN A LUXURIOUS MANSION

Master Zaki-the King’s brother just returned from a meeting he held with the king after Princess Helen told her father of her plan.

The king had informed him about it so that he will know and he was really angry right now

Angry in the sense that he feels King Darius took his place as King. Kings don’t give birth to girls,they give birth to boys but his brother has a girl child and doesn’t want to step down from the throne so he could take over.

He was aggravated when he thought of the princess getting married. If she gets married then it means he will not sit on that throne

He plopped down on the couch

“I want princess Helen dead”He said

“Master Zaki, you and I know that the princess is very powerful and it would be difficult to kill her”

“Silence!!! What do you know? You’re just an assistant. Call Chris for me now! It’s high time I sent him on a mission (he laughs) she wants true love right? I’ll give her true love”

The assistant ran to do as asked.

BACK IN THE CASTLE

The princess ran to her room and dismissed her maids leaving her and her personal maid.

“My princess,you look happier than usual today. What is it?” Kira asked and Helen told her everything.

“What! You are the most powerful princess here and beyond.

Queens from different kingdoms envy you. Why are you going so low as a College tudent?” Kira was surprised and Helen replied

“Kira,it’s for my kingdom. I know it won’t be easy but I have to do it and you are coming with me”

“What?”Kira wanted to protest

“King’s orders”

“But my princess…”

“No buts. Remember how you’ve always told me that you would like to get educated,well this is the chance to make that dream come true”

“Yeah but what about the expenses”Kira asked

Helen smiled

“Don’t worry I’ll take care of that”

Kira was grateful and she thanked Helen.

“Now get ready we have to shop for new clothes then we’ll leave immediately”

Kira nodded and they left for the boutique

THE NEXT DAY

STAR CROWN COLLEGE

Princess Helen and Kira were done with the registration process and were taken to their rooms since it was a boarding house

Star crown was a very prestigious college founded and established by the princess and sponsored by the king. It was filled with both rich and poor students. Most of the poor students were on scholarship and the rich ones took advantage of them.

MASTER ZAKI’S MANSION

He was with Chris and told him his plan. Zaki is also the royal adviser to the king.

He briefed Chris on the plan and Chris nodded then decided to ask

“Zaki,are you saying I should make the princess fall for me then kill her?”
