The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially declared the commencement of registrations for the 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with the registration window open from January 15 to February 24, 2024.

Direct entry (DE) applications and E-PIN vending will kick off on February 28 and conclude on March 28, 2024.




Here are key things to note before applying:

1. National Identification Number (NIN) is a prerequisite for application.

2. DE and UTME forms differ; DE allows direct admission without UTME.

3. The DE application is online and submitted on JAMB’s portal.




4. Statement of result is valid for registration within three years.

5. Upgrading from UTME to DE is possible under specific conditions.

6. JAMB recognizes 12 qualifications/certificates.

7. Registration can only be done at JAMB offices.

8. Applying for both DE and UTME in the same year is not allowed.

For the 2024/2025 session, DE fees are N3,500, with additional charges totaling N6,200 or N7,700 for non-MOCK and MOCK exam takers, respectively. Payment options include bank, online, or POS at accredited Computer Based Test (CBT) or JAMB offices.
