Our client A Logistics company is currently looking for an operations manager to join their team
As the Operations manager you will play a crucial role in planning, and implementing organization’s operational strategies.

Responsibilities[/b][b][/b]

Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
Manage the daily functions of the business
Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
Manage budget to align with goals of business
• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Train and supervise staff
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service



[b]Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong ability to multitask
Comfort working with multiple groups within business
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role in Logistics Industries
• Knowledge of cars, spare parts and hands on mechanical experience is an added advantage
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or related field
