I've been using the American Express Airpoints Platinum credit card for a while now, and here's my take on it. The flexibility to redeem points for flights, upgrades, or merchandise is a definite plus. Some hidden perks include travel insurance, airport lounge access, and exclusive events.

However, be aware that the annual fee is on the higher side. Also, while widely accepted, American Express may not be as universally taken as Visa or Mastercard. Customer service has been reliable, but like any card, it's essential to stay on top of your spending.
