FG Pledged To Obey Agreements With Labour Unions. by Donedeal1(m): 10:10am On Jan 18
Minister of state for labour and employment,Nkeruka Onyejeocha made the pledge during a courtesy call on Trade Union Congress (TUC),in Abuja.
The minister hinted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was focused on making sure that the new national minimum wage is addressed accordingly.
The minister went on saying "I do not wants to wait for any stakeholder to start agitating, that is why we came to remind that we are working to make sure that they (agreement) are fulfilled. If there is any that we can not fulfill now, including the past ones,we will continue our engagement on them"
The TUC president Festus Osifo,however urged the federal government to fulfill the remaining issues of the pact.
