It was glitz and glamour as Late Mrs Mary Aderibigbe widely known as Nee Shobayo was laid to rest amidst pomp and pageantry on December 15th, 2023 in Lagos.





Tributes poured in from all walks of life to acknowledge the impactful life of mama who passed on at 76.





According to Oluwatoyin Aderibigbe, late Mrs Aderibigbe was a woman of praise, prayer and peace. Mrs Seyi Aderibigbe, based in the US, on her part lauded the sacrifices and character she instilled in her.



Eulogising her, chief Adejare Shobayo, the Elebute of Egba Land said she was a good Christian throughout her life who always prayed at every situation she finds herself. Barrister Oluwasanmi reiterated the fact that she was a good, kind and loving person who was very accommodating and peaceful. He described her as a living embodiment of a virtuous woman.
