Miss Halimat Olamide Ibrahim, the immediate past Arewa of Offa, paid a visit to one of the schools that participated in the Arewa educational programme sponsored by her during her reign.

The programme commenced on 11th May 2023 and ended on 10th June 2023, involving students from primary, junior, and senior secondary schools.

Miss Ibrahim, during the visitation on Thursday, awarded a token of N5,000 each to students who secured first and second positions in the debate category of the educational programme for their JAMB examination. She informed the JAMB beneficiaries that the amount was sponsored by Honourable Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yussuf JK, a Member of the Kwara State House of Assembly representing the Essa/Shawo/Igboidun constituency. Miss Ibrahim assured the students of her support in their educational endeavours if any opportunities arose.

Mrs. Olatundun M.O., the school principal of Saint Marks Senior Secondary School, expressed gratitude to the former Arewa of Offa for her faithfulness and educational support for the students. She encouraged her students to emulate the former Arewa by representing their fatherland, school, and family admirably.

Mrs. Ajikobi, the Principal of Government Secondary School, who was represented by Miss Oladotun M.O, appreciated the former Arewa and encouraged the students to excel in their upcoming exams.

Lawal Fatima, the head girl of Government Secondary School, expressed appreciation to Arewa for her guidance and support for her younger peers. Similarly, Iseoluwa Zion, a student of Saint Marks Secondary School, appreciates Honourable Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yussuf JK on behalf of the beneficiaries for fulfilling his promise. He also prays for the Honourable to have a successful tenure.
