If that friend of yours told you that all the archaeological evidences that proved that the Jews have always owned the land are fake, then know that your friend is a quack anthropologist. So even if the archaeological evidences are fake, ancient historical records which were unanimous that the land has always belonged to the Jews are also fake, right? That some archaeological evidences are forged does not mean all arrchaeological evidences are forged. Paleographers are trained to sort out forged documents from the original ones - and it's not even common to encounter forged documents - since most excavations found are not only impossible to access, but they are also impossible to forge. Take for instance the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in the Cave of Qumram. No credible paleographer, archaeologist or anthropologist will ever say that they were forged - since some of these documents contain beliefs of Second Temple Judaism which are drastically different from the post-Christian Rabbinical Judaism.
