Abeg, fellow Nairalanders, I have to share this mind-blowing discovery that just saved my Friday journey from turning into a Lagos traffic nightmare.

So, I attended the Winepress of Harvesters and couldn’t get bus to TBS from Ikorodu. Knowing there will be traffic because of the ongoing repair on third mainland bridge. My phone battery is on saving mode, and my patience is wearing thinner than agbada material. I was so stressed and frustrated at the same time just as we were bus hunting with some people I met on my way going for the fest and we couldn’t get any of the buses provided for transporting people to the venue. I had someone talked about OrnaMap app that we can get any means of transportation on the app.

I download l it, expecting the same old traffic maps with red lines everywhere. But was I in for a surprise!
It was on that app i get to know about the difference between ferries, trains (the Blue Line), and tho I know about BRT buses before now but the way they simplify the navigation to the stations is just amazing and straight forward.

My mind was blown. Lagos has all these transport options, and I've been stuck with bolt or brt my whole life?!

Anyway, I plug in my destination TBS and the app gives me options:

Ferry: 30 mins and the price
BRT: 60 mins, fast-lane access.
And bolt or Uber option.

I'm a sucker for anything that would get me to TBS than Usain Bolt on steroids. So, I decide to go full YOLO and choose the ferry!

Let me tell you, that ferry ride was pure bliss! Cool breeze, and the sound of the waves lapping against the boat. I felt like I was in a movie, not stuck in Lagos traffic. And I get to TBS in no time.

So, yeah, OrnaMap just changed my Lagos game forever. Not only did it save me time and frustration, but it gave me a whole new way to experience the city. I finally feel like I'm exploring Lagos, not just surviving it. I also find out on the map that there is blue line , redline and railway. Many things dey this Lagos wey I gas learn.

To all my fellow Lagosians, I urge you to try out OrnaMap app. You might just discover a whole new Lagos, one ferry ride, train journey, or BRT adventure at a time. Trust me, it's worth it!

P.S. Who else had no idea Lagos had a ferry service?! Let's share experiences in the comments!
