We all know that Nigeria unlike the US or other western countries is a cash economy in comparison to the US which is more based on credit. We also complain that Nigeria is corrupt, but how can we eliminate corruption when trillions of money are unaccounted for in Nigeria because of our cash based economy. Corruption thrives in an environment where money can't be traced, so to eliminate corruption, we must first eliminate our cash based economy. We should be able to account for every penny in Nigeria, but we can't do this when people are hiding stacks of cash in their suitcases.

And while we take serious issue with African based corruption. We must overstate that it is very easy, and sometimes a trick to hide massive bleeding of African resources. So the guy with 20 BMW does not compare to Shell-Exxon exploitation in Africa. Or the 85% white ownership of South Africa. It is easier to demonize the guy with his private jet and put a face to corruption. However, he is nothing compared to multinational exploitation , not even a pin prick. And the ultimate beneficiary of African corruption is the business and banks of Western Europe and America.
