BENUE STATE GOVT RECOGNIZES BSUAA NEW INTERIM EXCO

The Benue State Government through the office of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Benue State on Youth Mobilization and Empowerment/State Youth Leader, recognizes and congratulates the new Interim National Exco of the Benue State University Alumni Association (BSUAA) under the leadership of Prof. Pst. Qrisstuberg Msughter Amua which was constituted on January 26, 2024 following the state government's directive.

Recall that the state government had on January 11, 2024 nullified the BSUAA Interim Committee inuagurated on the ground of illegality.

The Board of Trustee (BOT) of BSUAA constituted the Amua-led committee following directives from the state government to form the Exco and the assurances that security was guaranteed by the government.

The state government on its part took the decision based on satisfactory security briefings received from the BSU security authorities.

The government appreciates security operatives for their frantic efforts that forestalled breach of order and for ensuring compliance with the directives.

Signed:

Hon. Mkeenem Moses, FIMC, CMC,
SSA to the Governor on Youth Mobilization & Empowerment/State Youth Leader
