Crude Oil has grade and class. I believe he wants to import Western Texas Oil

More products, high yield, easily distilled

Mugu, I know you must find a way to defend failure and the APC Government.

NNPC prefer to supply crude Oil to India, France, Spain, South Africa and China and get kickback in Dollars than to supply Dangote and other Modula Refinery.

Now due to the inability of NNPC to adequate crude oil to Dangote, he has decider to import the products for USA.

What a shame?
What a country?

West Texas Intermediate, WTI is cheaper than Nigeria's Bonny Light crude or Brent. Dangote is simply looking after his bottom line. If Nigeria gives him a better deal he will dump WTI. It's just business, people.
Why will he import crude that is full of Sulphur while Nigeria supplies US will Sulphur free crude oil?

Both Bonny light and WTI contain sulphur. They also both fall under the sweet oil bracket due to their low sulphur content...

Dangote has oil traders checking the prices and securing deals where he would find cheapest that could be refined at his plant.

The first cargo that arrived at the refinery plant was from Agbami crude, sold by a trading unit of Shell Plc. This was followed by more Nigerian barrels including the nation’s Amenam, Bonny Light and CJ Blend streams.

Stupid point.
How much will it cost Dangote to ship the product to Nigeria?
