Everybody desires to reach their organisation's peak, and there is nothing wrong with aiming for the number one position. The sad reality, however, is that not everyone who desires the top position will ever get it. It is better and more productive to strive for the top of your game, not the top of your organisation or community leadership. Not many will ever be the CEO or GMD of their organisation or own their businesses. Not everyone will ever be the LGA chairperson, state governor, or president. But everyone can make it to the very top of their game and be what they are destined to be in life. But remember, 'There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand' (Proverbs 19:21). Your fulfilment, peace of mind, and well-being lie in discovering the counsel of your Maker and aligning yourself effectively with it. Have a productive week ahead.
