JUST IN: EFCC Uncovers Religious Sect Laundering Money For Terrorists – Chairman by adenigga(m): 12:56pm On Jan 31
The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, has revealed that the anti-graft agency uncovered how a religious sect in Nigeria is laundering money for terrorists.

This was as he also revealed that another religious body was found to be protecting a money launderer after some money suspected to have been laundered was traced to the organisation’s bank account.[/sup][sup]

The EFCC boss made the revelation on Wednesday at the Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, during a one-day dialogue on “Youth, Religion, and the Fight against Corruption.”

He noted that religious organisations, institutions, sects, and bodies, have been found culpable of money laundering.

Olukoyede said, “A religious sect in this country had been found to be laundering money for terrorists.”

Earlier, he noted, “We were able to trace some laundered money to a religious organisation, and when we apporached the religious organisation about it and we were carrying out our investigation, we got a restraining order stopping us from carrying out our investigation.”

Now another one.

Nigeria is a Circus Arena with drug dealers, bigoted, tribalistic and nepostic incompetent rascals as Circus clowns

The reason why the EFCC and ICPC always lose court cases against suspects is obvious. They talk too much before they act.
Why have they not mentioned the name of the Religious Sect?
It is because they don't have enough evidence to prosecute and they are still gathering evidence.
So why then have they made their investigation public without much evidence?
They have already given the suspects heads-up that they are being investigated and time to cover up their crimes.
In advance climes, the law enforcers will get all evidence and water tight facts before they strike and go public and the suspects will not have good defense.
Here it is the other way round. They go public before striking. That's why we hear police and our military announcing to the world that they have bought helicopters and weapons and about to go after criminals.
Foolish people like their govt.

Stop deceive us with this. Nigerians know all this. All want we want is arrest, mention their names and prosecute them. Is that too much to ask? Even Dubai help us to name some of them, what did the police, effcc and dss do? Nothing. Just repeating same old story we all know about. Even 90% of NGO are doing this
