Did u know

Two of th3se high tension thing have being blown up near DAMATURU

Another THREE near Maiduguri.

Now Another ONE in Bauchi

It's like someone is deliberately & systematically blowing up these things for some personal economic benefits while likely colluding with boko/iswap terrorists cells( cause they are d ones that blew up the ones in Damaturu & Maiduguri).

Tinubu in desperation to score himself cheap political point has resorted to denying the obvious. Why call terrorists vandals? Which vandals use explosives and yet did not take any valuables?

Great... More electric power supply for the people down South!

In fact, the whole North can destroy all their power lines to free up for electricity for Southerners.

I have advocated for decentralization of our electricity ...this issue should not affect a large expanse of people if decentralized well...You create stopgaps...get rid of National Grid nonsense.

Nigeria is really a complex mix of the good, the bad and the ugly.

What's the gain in plunging a population already pulverized by the current economic woes into unending darkness for which only a miniscule few can afford to provide alternate power source.

I love this statement that's why I said even in security issues too that our problem is d bad citizens among us like why will u be thinking of how to kidnap or kill or bomb a society when u Kate's are busy thinking of how to be a lawyer doctor pilots etc

Plunge the citizens into darkness in a bid to make them ignorant beggars. Hold their governor by the blockos, he’s the one who masterminded the act.

Idiots saying vandals. Do these people take us for fools? Vandals using IED to pull down a mast, and yet they didnt go away with it.

Some people cannot be pulling others backward

I suspect a lot of these things are being sponsored by certain people to destabilise the present government.

Some just wont accept a southern president who doesnt kow tow to them.

Each of the 36 states can't have its own electricity arrangement. It's just not realistic economically.

That doesn't even happen in the US.

Even assuming each state has its own electricity, how will that stop a coordinated bringing down of electricity pylons given that in a lot of cases these pylons are located in deep forests.

Securing every pylon in Nigeria is clearly impossible.

The country is at the mercy of various interests who are prepared to undermine the country unless they have their way.

Police Commissional told them to carry decreet investigation, only for it to hit national newspaper 3 days later.
Re: Vandals Blow Up Electricity Transmission Line In Bauchi by MasterTeeUSA: 10:11pm On Feb 03
Lol each state cannot...you need LGAs not even states in Nigeria...you think what you have now makes sense. ..you can later on work to improve the grid and combine...US a long time ago had many stations...towns and villages were not connected...we can't fool ourselves...what we have now is millions of decentralized grids called generators and solars...let each LGAs do its own thing and Govt can support...Estates in Lagos are providing 24hr electricity so technically some decentralization already exist...dey play.

This is a terrorist act, but let's pretend it's vandals as reported. Nigeria shielding terrorists since 1801.

I don't know what is wrong with Leadership newspaper (they always avoid using that word). PUNCH reported it more accurately.

Vandals and they didn't cut the wires or steal the metal gantry.
The North continues to play the ostrich by playing with words and nomenclature, this is either Boko Haram or ISWAP jihadists modus operandi

Their is a renaissance of Boko Haram.

Boko Haram pro max is also loading with the missing Miyetti Allah Group president.

They ought to convince us why the vandals are not terrorists. They call them vandals yet they brought in Explosive Ordnance Disposal Chemicals Biological Radioactive and Nuclear (EOD-CBRN) Operatives. So what are they coming to do to investigate the vandalism.
