#BreakingNews:

Candidate of the election for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon Peter Ifeanyi Uzokwe, has been denied access to the collation centre at Nnewi North Local Government by soldiers purportedly acting on instructions from the State Governor.

We call on the relevant authorities, including the INEC and the Chief of Army Staff, to call their operatives to order to avoid breakdown of law and order.

In the words of Late Gani Fawehimni, it is illegal to be lawful in a lawless society, and the people will resist any attempt to upturn the result a second time.

The people of Nnewi North have spoken in clear terms.
The results have been declared at the polling units and handed to all the agents.

Hon Peter Uzokwe won the election by 120 votes margin.

Any attempt to tamper with the wish of the people will be vehemently resisted.

INEC locks out the YPP candidate for the rerun election for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Uzokwe from collation centre.

As Governor Soludo's men (Commissioner for housing, Hon. Pauly Onyeka, Majority Leader, Ikenna Ofodeme, Transition Committee Chairmen of Nnewi North and Ekwusigo local government areas), take over collation centre backed by soldiers drafted from Onitsha artillery military cantonment amidst reports that they are mounting pressure on INEC staff to collect 100k dollars and change the results already declared at the polling units.

Let it be on record that the carnage that will happen here today if INEC changes the will of the people could still be averted.

We call on the Chairman of INEC and the Chief of Army Staff to call their operatives to order.

Nobody can change the will of a determined people, and this very evil plot must fall like a pack of cards.

NNEWI NORTH, NNEWI SOUTH AND EKWUSIGO RE-RUN ELECTION UPDATE

Thanks to the power of social media, the candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Uzokwe has finally been granted access to the collation centre after intervention from higher authorities.

Collation is still ongoing now with torchlight at the local government secretariat due to the absence of a generating set.

The re-run election for just 5 polling units was hugely successful until they arrived at the local government area for final collation. Because the result is now known to APGA faithful, different Shenanigans are presently being introduced to try and thwart the will of the people.

It is a thing of great shame that the APGA TC chairman of Nnewi North Local Government can not buy even a single generating set to power the secretariat.

Pressure is still being mounted on the INEC staff to ignore the outstanding votes as declared by the Court of Appeal and announce the defeated APGA incumbent as the winner.

The entire secretariat has been surrounded by Nnewi youths who are poised for a showdown in the event of any attempt to scuttle their votes.

More updates later...
