If over N 500 million has been recovered on the Betta Edu issue, who approved the disbursement since the Accountant General came out to say the memo from Betta Edu was not honoured?

If so much has been recovered from the Humanitarian Ministry, what steps are being taken to block the loopholes that allowed such monumental money laundering and theft? Is it not advisable to simply suspend the operations of the Ministry until all the loopholes are blocked? There is no point enriching thieves at the expense and in the name of the poor.

The solution to this your important question or review is what any sensible govt should be doing proactively.

It is not enough having institutions like effc that goes after citizens for financial crime committed. In addition, measures should be taken to build strong institutions and processes that will prevent future occurence.

If we put the average stolen from each Ministry as 30 billion and we have about 25 ministries, calculate the expected fund that will be trapped by corruption?
