Tragic isn't it. I am even more disappointed in all the states in close proximity to Lagos. So much opportunities, so very little vision.

Ogun state in particular! The state is an embarrassment.

In a sane proper economy, you can't have timber and be importing furnitures, poultry farms and be importing eggs.. Would rather a McDonald's than local bread. A terrifyingly import-dependent economy.

Is not true. US got those things and still import them. Including other nations.

You can manufacture everything. You focus on a few and be the best. That is how it work both individually and as a nation.

The monthly allocations accrued to the states have seen a big increase since the removal of fuel subsidy. January 2024, FAAC shared 1.13trillion. In December 2023, 1.13trillion was shared, in November 2023, 1.78trillion shared. In August 2023, 1.13trillion was shared.

These respective allocations were a big boost from 786billion that was shared on May 2023 at the tenure end of the last Administration.

The President had a talk with the Governors over the subsidy removal and promised increased allocations to enable them cushion the effects and help them deliver to their people.

So far, Governors haven't shown commiserable deliverables to the increase in allocation at their disposals. It appears to be that the Governors are less interested in driving the vision of the president than lining their pockets while their people groan and complain under their watch.

The media are not putting the pressure on the Governors, everyone's eyes are fixed on the President.

Increased allocation caused by increased inflation.

By the way, they didn't win their offices on the backbone of the promise of Mr prescient.

Allocation is not a Gift but their rights

People are not complaining about what governors can fix... People are not saying roads are bad, infrastructure is bad that's not the present issue

The present issue is the the economic decision of Nigerians are not favorable to the people and the president is responsible for this 100%

If you were educated you should know this

Dollar is too high, purchasing power is low, businesses are not moving... What has the above for to do with governors

Is dollar too responsible for almost daily increase of locally made products? Local rice for example is almost the same price with foreign one. Look! Nigerians are greedy! I'm telling you this firsthand as someone that's into business. Speculations due to hoarding of goods and GREEDINESS is the cause of all these. If it were military era, this can't happen. That's reason I do advocate for PRICE CONTROL IN NIGERIA. you can't just wake up one day and start selling at the price you like.

What of accommodation? Landlords esp. In lagos will increase rent by 100k yearly - a house built like 15 - 20yrs ago. Everything doesn't fall on the feet of the Government (esp. Federal).

I also believe strongly that these governors should be asked questions to, they're closer to the people than FG. What are they doing with INCREASED FG ALLOCATION. they need to be questioned too!

What would they do when there's Tinubulation in the land? Tinubu should resign

Senseless contribution, things like y*u is the reason for Nigerians current state. FG gave states grants, instead of us strategizing on how to hold state/local government responsible, u r busy masturbating with the name tinubu. You better get sense. Everything is tinubu, did the governors deny receiving such amount.

My governor is not the one that removed subsidy that made inflation and food prices skyrocket.

He's not the one that floated naira

He's not the one that continued where buhari stopped.

My governor is not clueless and incompetent like tinupoo

My governor is not the one shouting ebi pa wa oo

Do you still wanna know my governor??

Yet your state remains backward as usual.
