ASWAMA Boss, Ozoemena Host APGA Ward Two Executives To Inaugurate Six Prominent New Members Into Party In Awka.

The Managing Director of Anambra State Waste Management Agency (ASWAMA), Mr. Mike Ozoeme has organized a strategic meeting to form a united front for Awka South One Constituency for the task ahead at the up coming 2025 election.

The meeting which had in attendance representatives of all the villages which made up the Awka Ward Two which includes; Umuzocha, Amachala, Amudo and Ifite took place at his Awka resident was aimed at inaugurating new members and encouraging other ward party leaders and stakeholders both in Ward Two and all other executive members of the party in the 20 Wards in Awka South Council Area on the need to ensure the party remains a strong platform for the actualization of the development of Igbo land.

Speaking at the meeting, the MD ASWAMA, Mr. Mike Ozoemena while Appreciating the Awka South Mayor, Ward Executives and other Stakeholders for honouring the invitation thanked Governor Soludo for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet. He urge the APGA Local Government Central Executives And Stakeholders to continue to support the State Governor to succeed, affirming his strong believe on the competence and capacity of Prof Chukwuma Soludo to deliver on campaign promises.

While enumerating the numerous gigantic projects embarked by the Soludo's administration in the State Capital, he however harped on the need for party faithfuls to remain loyal to enjoy all the benefits accrued to membership

Also speaking, the Transition Committee Chairman of Awka South Council Area, Hon. ThankGod Anagor expressed his happiness with the new members, stating that the occasion signifies well-meaning individuals are beginning to understand and are now willing to help the present administration achieve its objectives of truly making Anambra the light of the nation. He tasked the new party faithful on accountability and delivering election victories.

He applauded the Prof Chukwuma Soludo-led administration for its impactful achievements in the State and extolled the Anambra State Governor for his exceptional love for the Awka Capital Territory, noting that Awka South Local Government has taken a new look with the numerous ongoing projects undertaken by the APGA-led administration to make Awka a befitting State Capital.

For the former Awka South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Jakpo Ekene Okoye, his believe in the progress of Awka South and the spirit of "onye aghana nwanne ya" which unites the party and the present administration to succeed in every critical sector can not be overemphasized.

He further urged the party faithful to continue supporting Governor Soludo in delivering the dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra as they contribute their humble quota in helping the Governor build a sustainable, livable, and prosperous smart mega homeland.

On his part, the APGA Awka South Local Government Chairman of the party, Barr. Chinedu Lawrence commended the ASWAMA MD, Mr. Mike Ozoemena for organizing the meeting, stating that the medium has helped him tremendously in attracting more passionate party faithfuls in the council area. He called on all the ward executives and leaders to adopt Awka Ward Two step and embark on strategic approach to make the party a model for other political parties to emulate.

He described the All progressives Grand Alliance, APGA as a unique and united political party that in no distant will be their desire for many and emphasized on the need for all APGA stakeholders to be alive to their political responsibilities, and expressed optimism that APGA is marching to greater hight.

In his separate remarks, the former APGA, Awka Ward Two Chairman, Chief Augustine Onyeachonam thanked the party for their immense support during his tenure and call for more united front ahead of the upcoming governorship polls to record success for the party so that Ndi Anambra will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy through the quality leadership.

Appreciating one of the new inductee from Amudo Village Awka, Hon Emmanuel Chisom expressed his happiness to be member of the party stating that he has long desired to become a active member of the party to contribute his quota to the growth and development of the state and to advance his political carrier.

He extol Governor Soludo for changing the narrative in Anambra political landscape and commended the good work of the Prof Chukwuma Soludo led administration which can be seen through various government projects, road construction, employment, youth empowerment among other numerous works and called on all to support the current administration to achieve a livable and prosperous Anambra that will benefit every Onye Anambra.

Earlier in his welcome address, the APGA Awka Ward Two Chairman, Hon. Gideon Kenechukwu Onyechi, thanked those who attended the meeting and the Anambra State Governor through the Awka South Mayor for all his good works in Awka South Council Area and stated that the event offered the opportunity to bring the Ward APGA faithfuls together and avail them the opportunity to synergize while calling on other stakeholders to join the party.

Former Awka South Women Leader, Mrs Ifeoma Egwu and Hon. Nweke Ugochukwu Michael, Hon. Chigbo Henry Okechukwu amongst other stakeholders were also present at the meeting.
