Amotekun Intercepts Trucks With Weapons, Charms In Ondo by Islie: 9:36am On Feb 07
Ondo State Security Network, codenamed Amotekun Corps has intercepted some trucks loaded with arms and other dangerous weapons and charms from entering the state from the northern part of the country.

Amotekun nabbed the suspects during operations that took place in three local government areas of the state.

Parading the suspects in Akure, the state capital, the state commander of Amotekun Corps, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, said the agency had been monitoring the influx of strange persons in the last couple of weeks within and around forest reserves and other parts of the state.

Adeleye, who said another set of 31 suspected criminals were arrested two weeks ago, explained that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa had directed that buses carrying pupils in the state must be protected and placed on serious surveillance.

He said, “A couple of weeks ago, we started having a very heavy influx of strange people within our forest reserve areas and the Ondo State territory.

“Majority of these people who claimed that they were coming into the state as hunters, were arrested around the black spots where we have robbery operations and kidnapping in the local governments where they were nabbed.

“They surprisingly and carefully concealed and kept their weapons, bags of Indian hemp, and cutlasses under their vehicles and they claimed that they were coming from various parts of the country.

Adeleye added that the arrested 149 suspects have been profiled, while some of them are still being questioned.

The government and our greedy politicians know what to do to maintain peace and harmony in the land. But for their selfish gains, they'd not do it.

The meaning of Democracy had been turned upside down in Nigeria by our avaricious politicians with their inordinate ambitions. When the people whom you're meant to serve are giving you solutions to seemingly unending problems but you're looking the other way, it simply means you're no more their servant but their boss. When a large number of Nigerians said state policing is the panacea to ending insecurity in Nigeria buhari and his apc people kept turning it down. They said state police would be manipulated by governors and politicians, as if the Nigeria police force aren't being used to dabaru elections and snatch ballot boxes, as if they're not being used by the ruling party to harass the opponents.

Today, katsina people are the hardest hit, followed by their neighbouring states. Now, they're coming to our land. Thanks to Aketi for his bravery on the amotekun formation. May his soul RIP. The entire South west would have become a ghost town by now cos the evil people had heinous plans.

Where are the corpses of those in the trucks? Those that smuggle arms and ammunition deserve to be sacrificed to the gods of Ogun, Sango, Obatala, Aiyelala, Obatala, and Esu Odara. They are not to be arrested or detained, only to be released by the Northern dominated security agencies

The question I keep asking myself is that , do this Fulani want to take over the land from the owner in 21 century … if not for the Nigerian gov system that cause all this rubbish , we won’t be here we are as at today , everybody for don sabi hin level bcoz to this criminal , yorubaland is just a place but to us , this is our home , u can’t take it like the way u took Kwara and that happens bcoz of that blind ages ,

In the past, you can be sure Police will release them after a call comes in from Abuja. Once they speak their langauge, e don finish.
