Provided some subhuman people in Nigeria armed forces don't arrest doctors for treating gunshot wounds. Some men in Nigeria's armed forces belong to the stone age. Doctors were trained to prevent death of a human being. |

zoer:food is the most import thing a human need after oxygen. Where can you buy food for free Those medical workers are there to safe a life and earn money too. There are cases where family abandon their patient in private hospitals for weeks without payment. Most private hospitals run with diesel gen and you know how much diesel cost now. I am not saying money is worth more than a life. But common we all should stop acting like doctors are doing charity work. About the police clearance, is all the fault of the police. |

Good morning from FG.. FG just waking up. Quite amusing! Now authorize all hospitals to have handcuffs!!! If after you're treated, you have no criminal records, you're free to go! The former disposition shows how dumb some policy makers can be. |

The government should also create a way of private hospitals applying for claims and refunding hospitals if patients refuse to pay after their lives have been saved. Hospitals are business too and some people's sources of daily bread. If I use resources purchased with money to save gunshot victim's life and they don't pay for it where will I get money to buy another to save the next victim? Or they expect hospitals to be running charity through free emergency care? . I can offer my services free but they cannula, plaster, drip, injections I will use to save your life was bought with money. The law should only apply to government owned hospitals. |

easyfem: It's the yeye Nigeria police naw. They have so made it that even when the hospital attends to the victims in most cases the victims do not survive. Like Nigerian health workers do not know how to treat people with gunshot wounds. |
