Training and retraining of Nigeria maintenance engineers is key. Government should build an aeronautics training institution, for air force and war fighting air equipments...we need to have the best trainers and teachers there. We must maintain our equipments and learn how to fix and refurbish them...it's not sustainable to look for foreign skills all the time.

If you are sensible enough, your brain should tell you military procurement comes in batches, so no other celebration for others
There must always be people like you. why at this era in life will a country celebrate buying aircraft especially the giants of Africa. What should be special is building ours.

Seems you don't know the military too well. Even pencil day under go induction. That's how the military operates. It's a global practice not a Nigerian thing.

They pour water in a pilot on his first flight or maiden flight of a new jet or raise him up for some time,

Celebrate the launch of a new submarine with a wine bottle,I can go on an on.

The celebration is not buying, but an induction of
A new class of capabilities

No induction party was organised.... It just simply means it was inducted into the Air force, as it wasn't in their inventory before.
