Students across Ogun West Senatorial District under the auspices of W2W4DA Student Wing have showered praises on Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, fondly called Yayi, for his remarkable contributions to the development of education in the region.

Senator Adeola's dedication to improving the learning environment is evident in the numerous educational projects he has facilitated within the last few months, including:

The Construction of 156 classrooms with staff rooms, libraries, and boreholes; These facilities are spread across 25 primary, secondary, and post-secondary schools throughout the senatorial district, providing conducive learning spaces for thousands of students.

Three ICT centers have been constructed at strategic locations, enhancing digital literacy and access to educational resources for students and teachers.

Desks and chairs were provided to 25 schools, ensuring a more comfortable and organized learning environment.

A scholarship board was established, and recently, 1532 students from tertiary institutions received awards ranging from ₦150,000 to ₦200,000, alleviating financial burdens and supporting their academic pursuits.

Recognizing the importance of higher education access, Senator Adeola sponsored free JAMB forms and registration for 1000 indigent students, opening doors for them to pursue their academic dreams.

The proposed "National Institute for Border Studies, Imeko, Ogun State (Establishment) Bill" 2024, spearheaded by Senator Adeola, is another testament to his commitment to educational advancement and regional development.

These impactful initiatives have garnered immense appreciation from students and student leaders of Ogun West Senatorial District, who acknowledge the positive impact on their educational experiences and future prospects.

"Senator Adeola has truly been a champion for education in Ogun West," said Comr. Shittu Basirat, a student leader from Yewa North LGA. "The new classrooms, improved facilities, and scholarship opportunities have made a significant difference in our learning environment and motivation."

The secretary of the student Movement from Ado-Odo Ota LGA, Comrade Yusuf Wasiu echoed the sentiment, "We are grateful for Senator Adeola's vision and dedication. His investment in education is an investment in our future, and we won't let him down."

The Co-cordinator of the student wing, Comr. Ojo Olorunfemi affirmed the impact of the Senator in the district in over a decade surpassing that of the previous representatives of the region combined. "Yayi remains a force to reckon with since 2012 and he us justified and cemented himself as the real Omo West with all facet of the district benefiting from his wealthy knowledge and experience " Famous said.

The coordinator, Comrade Jerry Kusoro was full of praise as he relished that Senator Yayi is not just a senator of the region but the father of all student who talks and do without minding the cost implications. "Yayi will go extra miles to ensure students from the region are given the best educational support especially in this trying times. He will still do more and we are confident he will perform excellently well if given bigger position to occupy" Horlatof added.

Recall during the last election, the student wing was the only student body across board who stood firmly and canvassed voluntarily for the emergence of the Senator driven by an unwavering belief in his vision for our Senatorial District. Yayi's campaign promises echoed the students aspirations for educational advancement and fills them with immense pride and reinforces their conviction in Yayi's leadership.


Senator Adeola's dedication to education serves as an inspiration to leaders and communities across the nation, demonstrating the transformative power of investing in the minds and futures of young people.
