My QX4 Infinity 1999 does not move as fast as it used to and jerks and the plugs are showing black carbon deposit as well as the exhaust too. I have changed the plugs, fuel pump and filter, air flow meter, distributor and the problem persists. The odometer goes below one when I stop the car as if it wants to quench and goes up again. Consumes more fuel than usual. Please can anyone help me on how to get this problem solved as I have tried a full scan which detected air flow meter. I have changed it but the problem persists. |

I will advice that u get a panel beater to check your catalyst converter for you. |

Good direction Ikenna BUT it's not the same thing. This is a Nissan VQ engine, completely different ball game from the camry. OP, first thing, have your throttle body sprayed out with Throttle body cleaner, then, change your PCV valve. You may also need to change your air flow sensors(Upper oxygen sensors). What code do you currently have? |

Yeah I side with Nissparts. Do clean out the valve body. |
