Lagosians have joined the number of states where there have been protests against High cost of living in the country.

In Lagos, market women and youths protested in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State on Saturday.

They carried placards with the inscriptions such as “Baba Tinubu, Nigerians are hungry”, and ‘Tinubu, come and rescue us”, among others.

The protest is the latest in the series of protests which had been held in Kogi, Osun, Niger and Kano States over the rising cost of living in the country.

Since the removal of the petrol subsidy in May 2023, prices of commodities in the country have been going up.

One APC supporter Paraman who resides in Iragbiji was shouting when there were protests in the north. He warned the protesters not to bring the protest to Lagos.

It is delusion to think that any state is immune from TINUBULATION.

We have said many times, Agberoism can only take you so far.

You can't run a state by Agberos & expect all will be well.

Please I repeat again, no Igbo person should join any protest, we can't take any blame for the bad governance dished out by Tinubu that we did not contribute in, and we will not take any blame for any protest, we warned them about Tinubu beforehand, we are tired of taking blames trying to help Nigeria...

Bulaba that built Lagos but can't solve food insecurity.

GEJ was bad in the eyes of APC but people had food to eat...

So much for First class accountant without common sense.

Thank God no Igbo State is joining them in their protest.

The sheyge banzai must continue. In Buharis tenure some chop grass, for bulaba own, grass Don dry na hay dem go soon begin chop.

We need his brain not his...

Why protesting in the west where the president comes from?

In the East we will keep managing and hoping for a better tomorrow.

Mr President should seek for assistance of people outside his government who can share good ideas with him on how to make things better

Propaganda by those in government will not turn things around for better

Truth be told, Nigerians are suffering due to bad policies from this government
