We are writing to bring to your attention the concerning actions of Detective OluwaKemi O. Olawoyin, who is the Sectional Head of the Cyber Crime Section (CCS 1) at the EFCC Benin. There have been reports of excessive behavior, extortion, and profiling of Edo State youths as yahoo boys by Detective OluwaKemi O. Olawoyin, whose phone number is 0803 700 6196.

We urge you, as the governor of our state, to use your authority to ensure a thorough investigation of the aforementioned EFCC official. It has been reported that she has been unjustly targeting and harassing our youth, pressuring them into plea bargains, and confiscating their property for personal gain through a proxy after confiscation.

The arbitrary arrest, harassment, and extortion of innocent Edo State youths by Detective OluwaKemi O. Olawoyin have caused fear and tension among our residents. One citizen, Madam Patricia Ekeyede, shared her son's experience of being harassed and beaten by Detective OluwaKemi and her associates, who suspected them of being involved in internet fraud.

It is evident that Detective OluwaKemi and her team have been targeting individuals based on superficial characteristics such as appearance and possessions, without proper evidence of criminal activity. This has led to the unjust treatment of innocent citizens and has created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in Edo State.

We implore you to take action and ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted into the conduct of Detective OluwaKemi O. Olawoyin and her associates at the EFCC Benin. It is crucial to protect the rights and well-being of the citizens of Edo State and to prevent the abuse of power by law enforcement agencies.

We trust in your commitment to justice and fairness for all residents of Edo State.
