Wise Christians who know their Bible know that the general trend of global hunger, famine, bloodshed and chaos is rising to an unmanageable crescendo as the Holy Spirit slowly withdraws His Grace and the age of the Gospel comes to an end.

Even the Nigerrian political system will not escape the Ultimate Terror from the AntiChrist.

But...if the same initially insisted on a 666 mark in order to access free or subsidized food to survive....

....how many Nigerrians will yield?

True Christians will not be around by that awfully sad and tragic time for all mankind,

But if you're trapped here because of carelessness.,..what would you do?

While you do have a point, I still think it does not fully explain what so many scholars have opined and commented on this matter over the ages.

Looking at it from even a purely secular materialistic world view--it is simply not enough to use image recognition, or some rfid tech to track who got what and when during a time a dire food rationing without such tracker not being imprinted on the human body somehow.

Secular materialism is bad. But even worst is the attribution that all the previleges and benefits one had comes from a source that is completely Anti-Christ....which the AntiChrist would want to prove: It's like a bold statement saying "Your life is in my hands...surrender to me with this marking and get the chance to live." Even rich hednostic materialitc people will cry and die of hunger if they do not surrender their souls that way..
