One of the things that APC supporters have always called Peter Obi and his Presidential Campaign team out about, is that he should give account of the many donations that Nigerians made to his campaign and all.

In the last 3 days, Peter Obi has indulged them and has rendered a public account of how much was received and how the money was spent and on what.

He has further promised to appoint private auditors to audit the financial records of the Labour party which has been a source controversy in the past few days.

The question now is, now that Peter Obi and his campaign team has rendered public account of his campaign funds and spending which is a rare occurrence in Nigerian politics, when is APC doing the same?

Can those who have spent energy calling Obi to render a public account of the donations he received and how he spent them now turn and hold their party by the same standards and demand a similar public rendering of the donations received by their party and how it was spent?

Or are they hypocrites?

Funny shit, almost a year after election, you never yielded to the calls to give an account of the campaign funds despite making a promise to open up. the books immediately
after pending court cases. Realizing the big mess the allegation of the party's treasurer had thrown them in, a disciplinary committee was hurriedly put together to suspend the whistle blower with the accusation that she was a mole, without fair hearing, while protecting the accussed himself. Then appeared Madam hijabi and Mr "saint" throw up figures to bambozzle their gullible supporters and donors without any credible independent audit neither was any comprehensive statememt of account.
I can't remember Tinubu flying to the US to solicit for donations or give out a personal account for donations.. Obi's trying to save face in his latest message to his donors was an indication he has once again been exposed.

The APC spent spent over N966,500,000.00 in litigation in courts over the 2023 presidential election.

The APC campaign materials worth N558,374,330.00 were procured and distributed across the 36 States and also in Abuja. Media and radio broadcasting was at the cost of N35,432,867.00.

For the election promotion expenses, we had N35,808,948.00. For Polling Unit Agents, we spent N624,381,700.00. And then, of course, we had bank charges of N3,750,544.00.

“We also had administrative charges of N477,000.00. And then, in campaign and election activities, we had over N48,500,000.00.

Peter Obi was the only one that commited to doing so in trying to paint himself as holier than thou.

If LP say they will disband if they don't win a particular election, should other parties that did not also win fulfil the misguided promise made by LP?

By the way, Peter Obi should not be making any pronouncements on or appointing anyone to do said audit as he can't be judge and jury.

Members of the LP exco should be the one undertaking the process of finding a reliable neutral auditor and receiving the report.
