Speaking at Senate plenary, the businessman cum lawmaker noted that Naira has been relegated to the background while the dollar is visible on the surface, thereby making Nigeria’s currency depreciate.

He stated that we have to stop the use of dollars in Nigeria, the sale of crude oil must be done in Naira.

Nwoko stressed that the use of naira should be made compulsory for everyone in the country as the only legal tender.

We didn't get to this point in a day, it has been brewing and only climaxed this moment.

The elites dragged us this lane. Apart from their unbridled appetite for foreign things, they have perfected the ways of conducting their affairs ( business and bribes) in USD.

Have we suddenly forgotten the dollarised primaries of political parties? Everything has repercussions, here we are!

Who is he trying to impress?

They are the chief culprits when it comes to the dollarization of the economy.

We only started learning the trick from them and boom! They want everyone to start afresh now that boys have understood the "money game".

Criticize him or not, this is the only solution to save Nigeria from sinking further, but the government who are the biggest benefactors of this crisis will turn a deaf ear to ideas like this

As far I can keep my USD in my dorm account in peace so that when I want to leave the country I won't start struggling to get USD, I don't have any problems with his notion.

Imagine what this man is saying. Is this the solution to the problem? Same Ned that has been spending dollars to junket abroad? This just shows how clueless everyone one of them is as far the solution to the economic deterioration is concerned.

This is the real problem of Nigeria. Heartless individuals who have blood on their hands and whose hearts have been calloused to the extent that they no longer have the ability to feel compassion for the misery of those they lead.
