So a guaranteed steady income, health insurance, pension plan for your retirement is slavery? Dey play.

Congratulations op.

Not sure if you live in Nigeria.... Employment job as guaranteed income? In Nigeria? If you are not upto 30, please don't go through that path especially that retirement plan. If you want good retirement plan, plan it yourself in your 20s, 30s and 40s. Don't say Nairaland didn't warn you.

Your course was introduced the year I got admission at UNN, in fact, that was where my name appeared before the angels took me to main course electrical engineering.

I will advise you to use this opportunity to find a technical skill, go to camp near ogbete and learn how to recoil even if na electric motor, alternators, generators, transformer, etc.. that siwes shit doesn't work, it rarely helps at this point in time in Nigeria.

Who would now stamp my logbook boss?

I also got my first job after NYSC through Nairaland after lying on my CV. Funny enough, I got the advice to lie on my CV on Nairaland. I quit the job due to my conscience and high blood pressure.

You didn't tell us the details. However, bear in mind that if you earn less than 100k in this economy, you don't have a good job yet because you are underemployed. Therefore, you should keep searching until you get a better job. Congratulations though!

My dear when you go there as you are doing your thing be recording it in your log book, after the whole exercise let whoever is in charge should sign it, just be able to defend it.

Is Ndudim Ononiwu still in mechanical engineering, we went to same secondary school.

Congratulations!

One thing I do advise people is: while waiting for that job, don't be idle. Look for one thing or the other to do. Funny enough, if God blesses you in that thing, you may later discover that you don't really need the job anymore.
