SOVEREIGNTY & SELF-DETERMINATION MATTERS: REVISIT AHIARA DECLARATION 1969
Igbo Nation, Facebook
26 February 2024

This message is not just for Igbo Nation, but for all the indigenous Ethnic Nations of the Lower Niger Bloc sometimes referred to as South-South and South-East.

Today we are in a desperate and dangerous situation being the effects of the Forgery called 1999 Constitution foisted upon us that overrides our inalienable Right of Sovereignty and Self-Determination. It is that 1999 Constitution that:

* * Puts weapons in the hands of Fulani invaders.
* * Renders Nigerians defenceless.
* * LOCKS DOWN productivity.
* * Creates an environment where poverty, corruption, lack of infrastructure are normalised.

We cannot hand down such an evil situation to our children. Some deal with it by fleeing Nigeria (jakpa) or staying away from Nigeria, but that is a “self” approach, where a community-spirited approach is needed. The Remedy and Push Back is that Nigeria became a DISPUTED PROJECT by Declaration of Constitutional Force Majeure (CFM) which started the Enforcement process of Decommissioning that wicked 1999 Constitution.

Nigeria being a DISPUTED PROJECT has implications for loans, investments, projects etc. The CFM Notice is effectively a “Stop Work Order”. It means Suspend all work since conditions are unsafe and important matters are unresolved. It means your money, your investments, your projects etc are unsafe – because the 1999 Constitution being a Forgery, there is NO UNION of Nigeria and everything placed on top of shaking sinking sand is Unstable (and will sink).

Insecurities and Miseries are all flowing from the 1999 Constitution which the indigenous WILLING TOOLS ie the political class Subscribe to and ENFORCE on us. Nigerians are being killed outright by Fulani for land grabbing, and now also by manufactured hunger and high cost of medication/medical care. Consider this: the genocidal conditions that Gowon’s Nigeria placed upon the Biafra Republic has come again: we are facing being killed for our land and its rich resources, and we are facing imposed starvation and lack of medical services.

Let us therefore throw away the “Biafra Restoration” scam and criminal hoax of Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB goons that has given a repugnant and violent coloration to the word “Biafra” and instead focus our minds on the Original and only Biafra Republic (1967 - 1970) which was a multi-ethnic community of Igbo, Ijaw, Ogoja, Ibibio etc all in agreement and living in harmony. Thus, it is worth Revisiting the Ahiara Declaration of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (General, Biafran Forces), on June 1, 1969, in the town of Ahiara. It was written by a committee of Biafran intellectuals, most notably the writer and social commentator Chinua Achebe. It reminds us that since our Liberation has not yet been achieved, we face the same Enemies as Biafra Republic did – empowered today by the 1999 Constitution:

1. RACISM [global anti-Blackness] – because our Sovereignty and Self-Determination are hijacked by the 1999 Constitution.

2. ARAB-MUSLIM EXPANSIONISM spearheaded by the Fulani (Black Arabs) – because our Sovereignty and Self-Determination are hijacked by the 1999 Constitution.

3. WHITE ECONOMIC IMPERIALISM ie Neo-colonialism imposed on us by the inordinate greed and vices of Politically Exposed Persons (eg WILLING TOOLS) – because our Sovereignty and Self-Determination are hijacked by the 1999 Constitution.

Over HALF A CENTURY (55 years) have passed since the Ahiara Declaration and still we are not free from the same evil Agenda against us. The Ahiara Declaration also describes a rotten and vicious Nigeria of the time that Biafrans needed to escape from, just like the false country of today. It then goes on to describe the new attitudes and new environment needed for building a successful and properly founded country.

Nigeria of today being a DISPUTED PROJECT has just two options: it either gets Renegotiated or Terminated. I think that the historical and lingering issues stated in the Ahiara Declaration will help the indigenous Peoples of the Lower Niger Bloc trace out a good future with unfettered Self-Determination. (So many thanks to the NINAS Proposition for it provides the Roadmap and Rationale to get it done.)

You're been joining hands since 1960 to make Nigeria work, and Nigeria has only gotten worse

When will you realise that Nigeria cannot work? In your next life?

Nigeria has multiple problems, but disintegration cannot work now, its not an option because one ethnic group cannot champion disintegration and succeed, we must persevere untill Nigeria gets better...the only way disintegration can work is if the entire south unite and seek secession, anything other than that is a waste of time .

Nigeria is already heading for collapse, go and read how countries that were in better shape than Nigeria such as USSR, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia all crumbed into different countries. Nigeria is broken and cannot be fixed, and like all broken things, will eventually be disposed off. Our unity has brought nothing but disaster, the British should never have brought us together

Yes Nigeria is heading for collapse, i agree, but the main point is how do we react to this situation, especially when u factor in that there will be different foreign interests in Nigeria if instability were to spring up
My point is simple, disintegration cannot happen by a single ethnic group or region, there needs to be consensus among multiple regions to secede... this will enable foreign backers to arm you and provide diplomatic support.. bearing in mind that abuja will deploy its military might to quell insurrection and have its foreign backers too
Look at the failure of ipob, it is a pure example that secession by a single entity will fail... Nigeria may be heading for collapse but the majority of the populace are not thinking about disintegration...
