It's very possible to start with nothing, and I have seen people who started from zero and made it to millions in a reasonable amount of time.

In this post, I will cover how you can start with zero naira or some amount of money depending on your current level in life.

The truth is that this is one of the businesses that you can start with nothing, and with diligence and time, you can grow it into something great.

This post will cover how to start a profitable real estate marketing business in different sections to make it easier for you to understand.

Now let's get started.

The first step you must take to start a real estate marketing business is to register with a reliable and legitimate real estate company.

Some companies are not legit and may pretend to be good companies but are not. So, you have to do your research and partner or register with a company that is reliable and legitimate.

The next step is to negotiate your commission. The commission ranges from 10 percent and above, depending on the selling land. Once you've registered and agreed on a commission, ask for the available land they have.

As someone who is just starting, you need to focus on selling land, not houses. Focus on selling affordable lands, not expensive ones.

These are lands between 500,000 naira to probably somewhere around 3 million naira. These are lands that people can buy easily.

Give yourself a target of how much you want to make at the end of the month. For instance, if you sell land of one million naira, and your commission is 10%, you will make 100,000 naira from that sale.

The next information you should request is the land information. It is good that you have information about the land they're promoting because clients or prospects will ask you questions.

If you're not able to provide answers when they need it, they will see you as someone who's not serious.

Ask them to give you the land dimension or size. How many square meters is it? 50 by 100? 100 by 100? What are the landmarks? You need to know the Three L's of real estate: location, landmark, and land title.

You must know the direction and location of the land. What are the proposed activities and development happening within that part of the land, within that area where the land is located?

What are the land titles? These are the documents that the person who is going to buy will get when they buy this land.

Some land comes with the C of O, land that comes with the Governor's consent, and some land comes with a registered survey and deed of assignment.

These are the pieces of information that you should request so that when you are promoting this property and you come across clients who ask you these questions, you will give the answers immediately.

They will know that you know what you are doing, and they will have confidence in you.

Once you have all this information, you are good to start promoting these properties. If you have zero naira, you can start promoting on Oplx.ng.

Make videos and speak about those lands. If you don't have videos to make, request a video from the company.

Tell them to send you videos for that particular land, then add your phone number to that video. Post it on social media using hashtags.

Be aggressive with your marketing. Show up and let people see you.
