It was gathered that the man returned home and discovered that his son had eaten the remaining food in the pot without permission.

A man has killed his son over food.

The man identified as Marcel Udeh allegedly shot and killed his teenage son over food at Eziama Lokpaukwu village in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was gathered that the man returned home and discovered that his son had eaten the remaining food in the pot without permission.

Enraged, the suspect dashed into his room, brought out a gun and opened fire on his son, killing him instantly.

A video posted online shows Udeh, with both hands tied and placed on the lifeless body of his son.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, February 27, said that the suspect has been arrested.

“We got a report at Umunneochi Division, the suspect has been arrested. The matter has been transferred to the SCID for discreet investigation and will be

charged to court afterwards,” the PPRO said.

Olamilekan, contrary to the false narrative you're trying to push, the story from other sources appear not to be a case of Ebi n Pa Wa. It has been established to be a case of anger issues built up because of the lifestyle of a delinquent agbero son.

Lekan, how much is the cost of one plate of rice and how much does a bullet cost? No be person wey don bellefull dey buy bullet keep for inside gun?

Olamilekan, if you like kill yourself, those Ibo people will never join us in any ill-advised Ebi n Pa Wa protest. Electoral choices should have consequences.

The story was that the guy ate the last portion of rice and his father shot him. Hunger was the stressor in this case, if not, why did the father not shoot him when he was doing all those bad things.

Kamorudeen, are you saying that it is now cheaper to buy bullets than to buy a plate of rice?
