Wicked lie. You are not exporting passenger neither importing them nor a tourist centre. Either the citizen will pay higher and you still import the parts of the train. In UK for example train is very cheap when compare with other means of transportation but in Lagos opposite.
In which Uk?
Please stop saying what you don't know.

Mr "Expose" and "Oga exposure" list the countries and put side prices side by side.

If you use Google, leprosy go scatter your hands.

Oga, train is more expensive in most part of the world. This is due to the huge amount involved in putting up the rail lines , maintaining the rail lines and also setting up stations.
Let me burst your bubble, train could be more expensive than flying in some cases.

Good one. If only every state governor can be like those of Lagos where there is continuity and progress. You saw what happened in Osun and Kano?...they were destroying projects done by predecessors.
It's painful, from people who could only spend 8 years max, if the next person have the same mindset then the cycle continues...projects not even executed with their personal money but money owned by all indigenes of that state and someone will assume power and destroy it for whatever reason

Take cheaper means of transportation and leave the train for those who see it as alternative to driving.

If you were born in Nigeria grew up and struggled here to make ends meet, when you still die here at old age, nobody has the right to send you to hell for any reason, cuz u already been through that...

These "Hell" and "Shithole" analogies are beginning to loose thire shock value. This is the problem with adjectives and hyperboles; eventually they become tiresome and boring.

Oh, you mean "eleyi".

The eleyi of Ogun state.

Gbogbo é lope si eleyi of eyi Lara.
Bereft of ideas
Lacking in goals and purpose
The pilot of Push and start governance.

Fairly good and purposeful governance in that state ended with SIA (Senator Ibikunle Amosun).

If you are unexposed, why don't you keep quiet.

Where in the World are trains cheaper than buses?

No dey embarass yourself.

Tell us where you have been. Do a comparison of bus, train and water transport to prove your claim. That should help everyone understand how things work.

Tell us which areas train prices are cheaper and the reasons. Tell us which areas buses or coaches as they are called and the reasons.

That makes understanding easier for everyone.

Thanks.

There's no wicked lie without proof. Well, you can't compare the Western world with ours coz they are already developed countries.

You can talk about Oyo State, but that goripapa governor who called himself dapo, the eleyi of eying, doesn't have any tangible idea, he's a very big mistake to Ogun state people

He is just full of Carol White cream. Nothing more. Nothing is in his head. Just doing poster boy allover the place courtesy of ring lights and camera effects.
No impact in Yewa side, not in Ijebu. Alagboole-Akute side look like cities in a jungle.
The little road project that Amosun left uncompleted after steal!ng billions are still there rotting away.

He doesn’t feel Sango axis to Ifo alone can be made to look better because it generates more revenue than Abeokuta.

I expect him to have linked Ijoko to Mowe/ibafo with quality road for motorists coming from outer Lagos who are going towards Sango, Idi-Iroko, Kola, Abule-Egba etc so that they don’t go towards Berger.
He can put tollgate there and generate some revenue for the state.

Funny. grin All energy concentrated on Cargo airport in the midst of abject poverty. He could at least have improved the economy of the rural areas by supporting farming activities and providing the much needed infrastructure...good roads, schools, water and hospitals especially. The only Governor that came up with useless keke NAPEP ambulances for the ill equipped PHCs where they exist. sad

He seems to have woken up lately. He's planning to work on the FG abandoned Lagos-Abeokuta expressway (to be tolled) and I think he mentioned that he plans to take the Red Line deeper into Ogun State.

Abeg, let call a spade a spade, that man is a failure, imagine being close to Lagos that has enormous beautiful things doing, if Oyo State was beside Lagos, it would have been better than how it is today...

Dapo no follow for governor abeg, him and yaya bello same before he left office

Dapo Abidoun na error

Ogun state only comes behind Lagos, Rivers and FCT in terms of IGR.

Mention any metric- Industries, GDP, Closeness to land and sea ports, border, schools, etc. the state is always among top 4.

Unfortunately, the clueless governor can't use any of these resources to better develop the state.

Just imagine someone like Sanwo-Olu, Wike or Alex Otti being the governor of Ogun state... Lagos sef go dey play catch up in no time.[/quote]

The state would have been top notch, I hope the people of Ogun state get it right next time

Nice one, I just hope it's cheaper than danfo bus.

It is affordable. But don't use the word cheap. Train is not cheap anywhere in Europe, but affordable. Train can never be cheaper than danfo.......

Eg from Marina to Mile 2, is 600 naira by train. From Marina to orile Iganmu is 600 naira by train.

From mile 2 to orile iganmu is 600 naira by train.....

By Danfo bus, from Mile 2 to orile, I am darn sure it can never be up to 300 naira....

But the answer to your question is readily available on the internet.

For your information, train are more expensive than bus. Anywhere in the world.

Well tickets were purchased for me by my parents when I was a teenager to visit countries. I became an adult, started fending for myself and have purchased tickets several times to visit several countries the world over. I will continue to do so.

You may meet me one on one to see evidence, if you can.

If you are a local champion, na you sabi. My comment was designed to get the person to enlighten the unknowledgeable like you more.

My question is WHY IS THE TRAIN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN DANFO?

Nigeria thing is always in the opposite direction, train trips are supposed to be cheaper than all other means of transportation.

It was supposed ease load from the shoulders of commuters, especially workers, but it's the opposite. This Lagos that people don't care waiting for over 30mins or to get a cheaper bus with just N100 difference, na dem wan spend more train? How much be salary?

Trains tickets are more expensive than the bus. Where it takes the bus 2hrs to travel... A light train will use just 20-25mins
