benuejosh: Gov. Alia and a crop of former governor Gabriel Suswam, House of Rep member Solomon Wombo, Paul Biam (Chief of staff to the governor) to mention but a few are the ones fighting Akume.
Austine Agada is the State Chairman and Alia with the support of those mentioned above is hell bent on removing him so as to take away the hands of Sen. Dr. George Akume (Secretary to the Government of the Federation) off politics in Benue State. They feel it is their time to be political leaders in the State and Akume's time is over.
Alia wants Akume to consult with him on every political decision taken in the state by Akume.
That's the only thing happening in Benue. But nobody fights Akume and wins. He should ask Suswam and Ortom the past governors of the state.
There's more to this than i can type.
Summary of it all is that Gov. Alia wants to become the godfather of politics in Benue. He wants to dismantle in totality anything Akume has built politically in Benue State.
Austine Agada has done nothing wrong as the Chaiman of the party in the State. That is the first person to bring down in the state chapter of the party to be able to loosen little the grip of Dr. George Akume as the party leader in the state.
As a matter of fact, Gov. Alia is being called the Ambode of Benue in the state currently by the political class and masses. Summary is that gov Alia does not want evil Akume, Tinubu man to tamper with state treasury 1 Like |

Benue State and cultists are like 5&6, you cannot count 2-3 houses in Makurdi without finding at least 2 or 3 cultists, sometimes it's even a whole street. No governor from 1999 has ever governed that state without using cultists to rule. From Akume to Suswan then, Ortom, now Alia... Live with the monsters you created |

This imaginary feud was created by Akume loyalist who are hell bent on occupying every available position in government even though majority of them are not qualified to. Most of them feel since Akume (who is well respected) is their leader then have every rights to any positions in govt even if they do no have anything to offer since "na our party" mentality reigns supreme here. Akume's hand are very full at the federal (even his wife is a federal lawmaker) and wouldn't stoop down to fight for these urchins hence they will do it for themselves and rope him into a fight he is not even interested in. All these guys ranting which wrong decision has Father Alia taken other than refuse to appoint incompetent party Loyalist into critical key positions? Austin is a stooge and was appointed by Akume for personal reasons which some of us know! He is too small in the scheme of things when it comes to decision makings in zone C where he is from! Himself and a few overzealous lot are trying so hard to prove a point to Akume that he is ripe and of age, but dude is about it the wrong way! Even Akume no fit fight Father presently when all the masses dey with am, this is minus state powers o.. He couldn't defeat ortom who hadn't the people on his side! Agada, buam and co should leave Alia alone to deliver on his promises.
