Video: President Tinubu and his delegation also toured the Qatari Foundation. The Qatar Foundation is responsible for promoting Qatar government humanitarian activities in other countries, including Nigeria. The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a state-led non-profit organisation in Qatar. The institution, which was founded in 1995 by the then Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and his second wife Moza bint Nasser Al-Missne, has been linked to development of schools, houses and health facilities in several countries, including Nigeria. The Foundation helped Nigeria with infrastructure including schools, residential houses and health facilities in states ravaged by insecurity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jB7P4AzCgr0?si=48UFiCBLr_VuIlmc 2 Likes |

Nestle is world’s largest FMCG company with annual revenue of $102b in 2023. It has a footprint in every country of the world. Nigeria was always a strategic market because of our population in demographics (young)and number. They have 3 factories in Nigeria - Agbara , Sagamu and Abaji near Abuja. Nestle Nigeria revenue was over (N140b) , almost $1billion as far back as 2014 and destined to become one of their largest markets in emerging markets . Profit for the year 2014 was N26b. They had developed an ultramodern warehouse at Agbara which shows the strategic place of Nigeria to the company. To see such a company record a colossal loss of over N100b and also wiping off entire shareholder capital is sad. The implication of this sad result is the message it sends to other such global companies about doing business in Nigeria. This could have been better managed through more rigorous thinking to design solutions for the situation we dug our economy into! - Rufai Oseni Me: I share this sentiment 100%. Ebilolan people, how market? 3 Likes |

President Tinubu. Does Qatar have standard gauge railway lines in the West and North West Qatar but old narrow gauge railway lines in the SE and NE Qatar? This double standard railway system is the legacy that your APC alliance has left in Nigeria. Divided country but because of crude oil in the Niger delta, you no go gree. |

What do Nigeria's politicians learn from visiting other countries? Does Qatar deny modern development in its oil producing areas but lavish oil money in the areas that bring nothing to the country's coffers? No way. Nigeria is the country that wastes oil money on modern infrastructures in its barren areas but deny the oil producing areas modern infrastructures. NITEL died after modern digital telephone exchanges were built in tiny unproductive cities in areas that do not contribute much to the country's economy, but morribund ANALOG telephone exchanges were left to operate in the large businesses cities in the oil and gas producing areas in the east. Nigeria is the country which declared its civil war ended but still fights economic civil war against itself. |
