APPLAUD THE GOVERNOR AND SEEK CONSIDERATION FOR A STATE POLICE

The Special constabulary police Kwara State Command appreciates and applauds the executive governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum H.E Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq on his contribution alongside his governor colleagues for bringing to life the state police as part of the security apparatus in Nigeria,
This great development has distinguished the term of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq as NGF chairman and impacted the administration of NGF in the history of our dear nation, as we believe the implementation of state police is a lasting solution for security challenges in Nigeria.

On this note, about 1056 Special Constabulary officers recruited in Kwara State as of April 2021 hereby appeal to the masses-loving governor to consider us for a newly proposed scheme, the Special Constables have all that it takes to defend the state and fight all sorts of crimes. we are educated and law-abiding citizens with the interest of the country in our heart, especially, on security concerns and we are conversant with the tackling security challenges, having worked for 2 years and 10 months even without any sort of allowances or stipend received and by converting Special constables into this new scheme will save the cost of the finance on the side of government and will also aid quick understanding during the training with the level of the training and experience our officers have acquired since our years of services with the Nigeria Police Force.
