Super Eagles Vice-Captain Excited About Potential Move

William Troost-Ekong, the 30-year-old Super Eagles vice-captain, has expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, calling him one of the best players in the world.

Ekong, who was recently named the Player of the Tournament at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has attracted interest from top Saudi Pro League teams.

In an interview with All Nigeria Soccer, Ekong shared his thoughts on the possibility of playing alongside Ronaldo. He said, “Who wouldn’t? One of the best players in the world. We’ll have to see what happens, but I’m happy at PAOK.”

Saudi League Interest

Ekong has had a diverse career, playing for clubs in England, Italy, Turkey, and Greece. He is now considering adding a club in oil-rich Saudi Arabia to his resume before retiring.
